In November 2025, I was invited again by La Vapeur to lead a new artistic residency at York School alongside with musician Païkan. Over the course of two weeks, we worked with the same group of kids from the last experience Le Volcan (check it out!) 

 

Using the picture book Elmer as a starting point, we explored new visual creation techniques with the students. The project also gave us the opportunity to open up discussions about differences, while introducing them to a unique electronic instrument called La Frite.

 

The residency concluded with a final presentation at La Vapeur, which was a particularly moving moment. Together with the students, we presented a hybrid form combining a concert-book, a performance of sound images and illustrated music.
